A Ryan FR-1 Fireball at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, Ames Research Center, Moffet Field (California, USA), on 26 February 1945. The Ryan FR Fireball was a composite propeller and jet powered aircraft designed for the United States Navy during the Second World War.
