Fréhel (Breton: Frehel, Gallo: Fèrhaèu) is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department and Bretagne region of France.
This commune was previously named Pléhérel. Between 1972 and 2004, the commune of Plévenon was included in Pléhérel; the name of this association became Fréhel, from the name of the Cap Fréhel on which these communes are located. In 2004, Plévenon became a distinct commune, but the name remained Fréhel.

The inhabitants of Fréhel are known in French as Fréhélois.
As of the census of 1999, the town had a population of 2,047.
