Frédéric Mitterrand

Frédéric Mitterrand (born August 21, 1947) is an openly gay French actor, screenwriter, television presenter, writer, producer and director. He is the nephew of the former French president François Mitterrand and the son of Edith Cahier, the niece of Eugène Deloncle, co-founder of La Cagoule.
In June 2008, he was appointed director of the French Academy in Rome by Président Sarkozy [1].
