fprint (libfprint) is an open source project to develop a library for the consumer fingerprint reader devices. It aims to provide a single API to Software developers for serveral devices.
Currently supports following hardware:
- UPEK TouchStrip and TouchChip
- DigitalPersona / Microsoft devices
- Authentec AES1610, AES2501 and AES4000
- SecuGen FDU 2000
Several more are in active development.
