Chad Michael Fox (born October 3, 1982) is a United States Army National Guard (Michigan) commander for the 146th Multifunctional Medical Battalion. Additionally, he is a graduate student at Central Michigan University.

Fox was born in Adrian, Michigan, to Lon Emory Fox (1944- ), a telecommunication cabler; and Rosemarie (Upell) Fox (1955- ), an union official. Through his life Chad was known as Fox, Foxy, and to his family Bubba. Fox had three siblings, Stephanine Jo Smith (1974- ), Daniel Guy Smith (1978- ), and James Richard Fox (1984- ); each played a specific role in his developement.
