[edit] Vulnerable Native Breed

This breed is classed in Britain as a VNB - a breed which originated in the UK but now has registration numbers with the Kennel Club of less then 300 puppies per year.

I'm a Canadian teenager on a gap year before Uni and I'm really interested in this. Would anyone like a VNB paragraph/link on this page? I can write it, but am ignorant about formatting etc. Plus, I'm trying to put together a whole collection on all 29 breeds on this list, including history and so on, using Wikipedia as one of my many sources. If you can help, or are interested at all, please contact me either on my talk page or at green_ied_dragon@hotmail.com

[edit] That photo

The current image (Feb. 2005) is not a standard Smooth Fox Terrier (cutest dog, though).

I think this image would be better placed at the fox terrier article, as it is a dog of fox terrier type.

I have no objections. It didn't look completely fox terrierish to me, but I'm not an expert in that area. Elf | Talk 06:48, 24 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Yes, the standard foxie is pretty distinctive.
My suggested wording for a caption: This tri-coloured dog of fox terrier type exhibits several traits characteristic of the descendent breeds, including an inherited instinct for digging.
I’m afraid my connection problems make it too frustrating for me to move this myself.

Done, O Quill. Elf | Talk 04:50, 26 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Thank you, O Great and Wonderful Wizard of Elf! Quill 05:00, 26 Feb 2005 (UTC)

I've just added an image I took of our Fox Terrier, Kai, so I'll remove the required image tag if that's alright. --Brendanfox 11:19, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Cool. Thanks! Elf | Talk 16:09, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
