Foxboro is a community located in southern Ontario. Foxboro is located nearly north of Belleville, east of Trenton and Toronto and west of Kingston. The community is accessed with a superhighway 8 km south. Foxboro is bypassed with the highway linking Belleville and Bancroft, it also serves roads to and from Frankford, another for Stirling and Marmora and Plainfield via Rosedale Avenue. The Moira River runs in the east of the community.

The area around Foxboro are made up of hills, farmlands and forests within the valley and hilly areas. The main industry until the mid-20th century were agriculture, businesses and other jobs covers the rest of Foxboro's industry. The downtown section features a couple of shops on Main Street where Highways 14 and 62 used to pass as well as on North Main Street and Old Madoc Road.
