Foxbar is a housing estate in Paisley just beside Glenburn and Johnstone it is one of the biggest housing schemes in Paisley.

[edit] Community Centres, Shops and Schools

Foxbar has 3 primary schools (Heriot, St.Pauls and Brediland) and 1 secondary school (Gleniffer High). It has lots of shops like the Key Store, post office, chemist and neighbourhood office which are all situated on Ivanhoe Road. It also has the Costcutter, Butcher, Hairdressers (L.A Studios), Fish and Chip shop (Marco's) ,chinese take-away (Wok In) and Foxbar Video situated on Foxbar Road. It also has shops on Green Road and Spey Avenue and also a chinese take away (Happy Valley) on Brediland Road. Foxbar has 3 community centres and 1 library. The main foxbar community centre is situated beneatht the library on Amochrie and Ivanhoe Road. The Youth Drop in is situated on Spey Avenue, The resource centre is situated on Amochrie Road.

Foxbar has 5 different buses that go through the housing scheme it has arrivas 61 which goes from the town to the top of foxbar and the 60 which goes from either Gallowhill or Gockston to Heriot Avenue via the Royal Alexandra Hospital. The other company which is direct travel offers a 61 which is the same service as arriva and they also over a 59 service which covers foxbar and glenburn then goes to Paisley and there is also SPT service which goes from Paisley to Morar Drive.

Foxbar has two Young Teams. The top end (Young Top End) and their rivals, the bottom end (Young Cumbie Boys). Both young teams like to fight on the infamous 'Tari Hill', between Brediland Road & Amochrie Road. They also fight in the local Durrockstock Park on Waverely Road. They both enjoy to drink vast amounts of Buckfast, Mad Dog 20/20 and Strongbow.
