[edit] Locations

I have undone the removal of the locations section. I believe that the locations of the hotel is important. It helps to explain what kind of hotel chain the company is. If the hotels are concentrated in a certain part of the world, it shows where the hotel company has a strong hold, and also the city locations show if it is an expensive hotel or a cheaper one. The locations have more information hidden in them than just telling people what the exact locations of the chain's many hotels are. Also, Wikipedia tells its users to add information to sites to help expand Wikipedia. I decided to take that piece of advisement and went ahead to expand the information on this site. Luckyluke said that the list had "no real purpose." Well, then thousands of other articles should also be deleted from Wikipedia. Every now and then I use the "Random article" feature and I encounter many articles that seem to contain nothing very important. Why would the list of locations, which I believe does contain important information regarding the Four Points by Sheraton hotel chain, be deleted while other articles (that contain so much unnecessary information) go untouched? While your point of view maybe valid, my rationale for removing the list of Four Points by Sheraton properties is based on consensus that has not only been adopted in the what Wikipedia is not but also supported by numerous AfD's of the exact same content - a listing of hotel properties under the same brand. Yours and numerous other reasons for inclusion fail to effectively support inclusion of such material on Wikipedia, as evidenced through the following: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Marriott hotels, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Sheraton hotels, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Radisson Hotels (which also includes List of Four Seasons Hotels, List of Hyatt Hotels, and List of Shangri-la Hotels & Resorts.
