In response to the above: How is the link to Fifth Modernization "propagandistic"? The text regarding the Fifth Modernization in the Four Modernizations article is very neutral; it merely says that someone has promoted this Fifth Modernization without saying whether it is right or wrong. The so-called "Fifth Modernization" is not an irrelevant, seldom-used term; it is cited in many scholarly texts and news articles on China. --Lowellian 23:28, Nov 15, 2003 (UTC)
Lowellian, in my opinion adding your paragraph in a section for Deng's theories is wholly inappropriate. Would you incorporate, say, Marxist criticisms on the US Constitution's page? However, if you set up a new page for criticisms of Deng's theories that may be acceptable. After all, this article is supposed to be neutral, and criticising it before people fully understand the theory steps beyond this neutral boundary into POV. --Jsw663 01:45, Apr 12, 2006 (EST)
