Talk:Four Knights Game

[edit] Todo
- List some players who have used the Four Knights.
- Mention following variations and create appropriate redirects to Four Knights Game:
- Metger unpin in symmetrical (classical) variation
- Rubinstein variation/defense
- Belgrade Gambit
- Possibly add a discussion of symmetry in classical variation including examining when Black can and should break symmetry. Fine has a good discussion of this in "Ideas Behind the Chess Openings", and I think it's still valid today.
- Belgrade Gambit 4. d4 exd4 5. Nd5 Nb4 (possible Be7/Nxd5/Nxe4) 6. Nxd4 (Bc4 Nd4!?) unclear. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChessCreator (talk • contribs) 15:58, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
The Rubenstein variation - (6.f4 Nxb5 7.Nxb5 d6) should be expanded as there is a potential trap here - 8. Nf3 Qxe4+ 9. Qe2 Qxe2+ 10. Kxe2 then if the 10th move by Black doesn't defend the c7 square (e.g. Nd5) then 11. Nxc7+ forking the king and rook - disaster. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.54.1.137 (talk) 20:13, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
