[edit] Summary

Description

Fourteen traffic lights on a single display, taken at the corner of Swanston and La Trobe Sts in Melbourne, Victoria (signals face Swanston St heading south). Note that in Australia, traffic drives on the left. At this point, Swanston St has a bike lane to the left of the left turn lane and a tram lane and safety zone tram stop in the centre of the road. Private motorised vehicles may not go straight into Swanston St south of La Trobe St between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm, so the circle light is always red during this time.

The top two lights control bikes ( green/off only) and trams turning right ( white/off only). The bottom groups of lights (from left to right) control regular traffic turning left (), otherwise unspecified traffic (), trams going forwards (TT), and regular traffic turning right ().
