Fourball

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Fourball match is a type of golf match. It takes place between two teams of two golfers, but all four golfers play their own ball throughout the round rather than alternating shots, and each hole is won by the team whose individual golfer has the lowest score. This form of golf is usually played in team golf competitions such as the Ryder Cup, Seve Trophy and the Presidents Cup.
