Four of a Kind is the debut feature film for director Fiona Cockrane. The film is currently in Post-production and will be released in 2008. [1]
Based on stage play Disclosure written by Helen Collins that appeared at La Mama Theatre (Melbourne) as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2006. [2] It was shot on location in Melbourne, Australia. Disclosure's four encounters interweave the stories of a group of women. Each has a previously well-hidden secret that they are coaxed, cajoled, tricked or threatened into revealing. The same themes ripple through their stories: murder, betrayal, lying (including the lies they tell themselves), infidelity, ambition, loneliness, pain and anger. [3]
