Foster Lane

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Foster Lane is a short street within Cheap Ward, diagonally opposite St Paul’s Cathedral and running northwards to a T-junction with Gresham Street. Goldsmith’s Hall, one of the 12 Great Livery Companies[1] of the City is situated on the north-east corner[2]. Like much of this area[3] it suffered damage during the war[4]. Although a very short road it also contains a wine bar(City Pipe) and a small lane halfway that runs to the east(Carey Lane.
