Foster Business Library

The Foster Business Library is the business library at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, serving the 3,500 students, faculty, and staff of the University of Washington Business School. The library, which opened in 1997, is located under a garden, beneath an eighty-foot long skylight, on two floors, adjacent to and connected with Balmer Hall and the Bank of America Executive Education Center. The Foster Business Library is part of the three-campus [1] University of Washington Libraries system, consisting of over twenty libraries.
The Foster Business Library consists of 23,500 square feet on two floors, with eight group study rooms, an eleven-seat seminar room, an eighteen-seat library lab, over 80,000 business books (with [2]new books added every month), over nine hundred [3] serials titles, an extensive [4] annual reports collection, over fifty computer workstations, over fifty [5] business databases, over ninety [6] research guides, and an extensive reference collection. The library is staffed with four librarians, four library technical assistants, two graduate assistants, and five undergraduate assistants.
