[edit] 100 Hour Board talk

Per your email: It's hardly a discussion given you are the only contributor, and I don't see any evidence of talks with JzG. But, nonetheless below is the content of Talk:BYU 100 Hour Board. --Steve (Stephen) talk 03:56, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

The 100 Hour Board article has been deleted twice by admin JzG on the assertion that it lacks "notability." The second deletion occurred earlier this week and the article has now been "protected" from further recreation. JzG states in the Protected titles/June 2007 page:

Massive article on a student noticeboard at Brigham Young University. Yes, really, a noticeboard. As in a bit of cork nailed to the wall.

The old BYU 100 Hour Board page now lists this comment from JzG after the last deletion:

Absolutely no assertion of notability. Might merit half a sentence in BYU.

With due respect to the admin, he didn't read the article. The photo of the "bit of cork" was a historical reference, since the Board has moved online with thousands of readers. The online 100 Hour Board community covers almost every state in the U.S. and has readers on at least three continents. The network of blogs, discussion boards[1], and fan pages created around the 100 Hour Board [2] far eclipse its humble beginnings as a bit of cork nailed to the wall.

I was one of the contributors to the article, so there is somewhat of a personal stake in its resurrection. But I genuinely feel its removal was unwarranted.
