[edit] Steam Mills and other articles

You recently created a few articles for some geographical locations in the Forest of Dean. You might want to look at Steam Mills and see the stub and link I've added. Otherwise, they're very short and may end up speedy deleted. Yngvarr 14:04, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Littledean, Gloucestershire

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Littledean, Gloucestershire, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Littledean. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:24, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Redirects

Hi, just a note because I saw that you've created some identical articles with the same content and slightly different titles (for instance The Pludds and The Pludds, Gloucestershire.) Instead of creating several identical articles for different varieties of the title, please use redirects from the alternative titles to the article. By doing that, you make sure that when an article is updated there is no need to search for several instances of the article to update them all. Thanks, and have fun! --Bonadea (talk) 14:26, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Piping

This edit was virtually vandalism. To pick one example: changing Lydbrook into Lydbrook converted a working link into a red link. We do not add ", Gloucestershire" to an article title unless there is a need to disambiguate. Eg. there is only one village called "The Pludds" so nothing else is needed in the title. In the case of Longhope, although there are others, the present feeling is that the Gloucestershire one is more important so that goes on the unqualified title. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 15:12, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Stub articles

Please don't remove the stub template from articles which have been stubbed. Stubbing an article is a useful process, as many editors monitor various stub categories, and will often improve articles which are easily expandable (not expendable!). Please review WP:STUB which better explains the purpose. Yngvarr 15:25, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

 • To Yng: please be specific. Which article? It may have been me during a history merge. In which case, my apologies. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 15:36, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
 • ATM I can only find one 1. It may have been done during "normal" editing. I was pretty sure there was more than one, but can't find them, so it is probably as you said, during a merge. No biggie deal, just something I wanted to mention. Yngvarr 15:48, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Westbury, Gloucestershire

The stub you created at Westbury, Gloucestershire does not mention nearby towns, villages or roads, and does not contain any external links. As a result it is uncertain where the place being referred to is - does it refer to Westbury-on-Severn, or another Westbury I am unable to identify? --Snigbrook (talk) 11:40, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
