[edit] Speedy deletion of Sequoia Di Angelo
A tag has been placed on Sequoia Di Angelo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Alexius08 is welcome to talk about his contributions. 08:55, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] April 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Sequoia Di Angelo do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bmyspace\.com' (link(s): http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.Channel&ChannelID=78380577) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 09:13, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

- Please stop recreating the article on Sequoia Di Angelo. She does not meet our notability guidelines for inclusion in the encyclopedia, and recreating it over and over will make no difference. If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talk page, thank you.--Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 10:27, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- If you recreate the page again, you will be blocked for disruption.--Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 10:34, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I did read the article, and I do not see any evidence that she is "well known." The subject is 17 years old, and has supposedly been in a couple of independent films. Wikipedia articles rely on reliable sources. I see no reliable sources in the version of the article you create, rather just articles about her father, the fact that she wrestles, a CV, etc. She does not pass the Wikipeida notability guidelines which is why the articles keeps getting put up for deletion and then deleted. Please respect our policies - we don't have articles on every aspiring actor or actress.--Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 10:46, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- It may or may not be stupid as you say, but Wikipedia has rules. I've been quoted and even pictured in newspaper articles in major US papers, but that does not mean I get a Wikipedia article. I can't really engage with you on this anymore. This person will not have a Wikipedia article at this point in time based on our standards. I'm sure she's a great person, but that's they way it is (ask around as much as you like, you'll get the same answer).--Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 10:53, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm an administrator on Wikipedia, i.e. the kind of person selected by the Wikipedia community to "decide shit like this" as you put it. I'm pretty easy going, understand that most other folks would have blocked you by now (indeed most people would not have repeatedly written you direct notes as I have). Sequoia has a resume on IMDB, I saw it. So do two of my friends who live in LA. They don't have articles either. I know a bit about a Wikipedia, and I'm giving you good advice when I tell you to drop this issue since you will get no where with it. If you keep pushing this, I will have to block your account for a period of time.--Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 11:08, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

UTC is Coordinated Universal Time, kinda like Greenwich Mean Time. Now please leave me alone cause I have other stuff to do and quite frankly I've been more than patient with you. Thanks.--Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 11:14, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi ForActing2; I've restored Sequoia diangelo but have taken it to an "Articles for Deletion" discussion here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sequoia diangelo; consider stating there your reasons for having the article kept. In this case I felt that the article deserved peer discussion rather than a "speedy deletion." Marasmusine (talk) 11:36, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment.
