Fort de la Corne has been known at different dates as Fort St. Louis and Nippeween. Fort de la Corne was built in 1753 by Louis de la Corne, Chevalier de la Corne

The HBC built its "Fort-a-la-Corne" in 1846. (a few miles from original)

Any details to augment what I've found would be appreciated. The Manitoba Historical Society can be quite contradictory on a lot of this material. (Stormbay 19:15, 4 February 2006 (UTC))
