Talk:Forest Research Institute
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] this title is general, not just India
Although this institute has a long history and English as its native tongue, most forested countries have a national forest research institute, so I think this is a general term.
Thus this article should deal and describe these institutes in general and each national, private or commerial research institute should have a separate title under a category of research institutes and forest research institutes.

- I'd disagree with Pihka on that. In my view, this article is correctly named for its subject, though there is clearly the possibility of a new global article on Forestry research. Meanwhile I've added a few stubs to Category:Forest research institutes and a Forest research (disambiguation) page. Since Category:Forest research institutes is a sub-category of Category:Research institutes, I don't think we need to use the higher-level one too. I'll copy this talk to the dab page for reference.--Mereda 08:37, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
