Forum for African Women Educationalists

The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) is an organization which seeks to promote girls' education in Africa, by making sure they have access to schools and are able to complete their studies and fulfill their potential.

It was established in Kenya in 1993 with its Secretariat in Nairobi. As of 2007 it has 32 national chapters. Including: Benin, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
