From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Fortis MeesPierson is a Netherlands-based private bank.

Until 2005, the bank was known as MeesPierson. The name derives from the merger of merchant banks Mees & Hope (from 1720) and Pierson, Heldring & Pierson (from 1875). In 1997, Fortis bank acquired Meespierson from ABN AMRO and, in 2005, changed its name to its current Fortis Meespierson.
