From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Forth Wanderers Football Club are a Scottish football (soccer) club based in the village of Forth, South Lanarkshire. Formed in 1904 and play at Kingshill Park. They currently compete in the West Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association and play in red strips (uniforms) with a white trim. The club is currently managed by Paul Anderson. He has a coaching team consisting of Derek Brown and Ross Anderson.
They have recently made a few additions to the squad for the season ahead and with names such as S. Donnachie (Shotts) B. McCloy (Lanark) B. Crawford (Shotts) P. Macaninch (R. Glencairn) joining the ranks. The blend of youth with experience has a sense of excitement running through the small village.
They had to share with Carluke Rovers F.C. for a spell and play on a public park in Carnwath when Kingshill Park proved unusable.
