The Fort McMurray Public School District is a publicly-funded school district, serving the hamlet of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada and the outlying areas.


The mission statement of the school district is:

Fort McMurray Public School District is a learning community dedicated to educating all students for personal excellence.

  • Beacon Hill School (Grades K-8)
  • Composite High School (Grades 9-12)
  • Dr. K. A. Clark School (K-8)
  • Ecole Dickinsfield School, which offers a French Immersion program. (K-8, in both English and French.)
  • Fort McMurray Christian School (K-9)
  • Fort McMurray Islamic School (K-3)
  • Greely Road School (K-8)
  • Second Chance School (An alternate programming school.)
  • Thickwood Heights School (ECDP, K-8)
  • Timberlea School (K-8)
  • Westview School (K-8)
  • Westwood Community High School (9-12)
