[edit] History
Forrester Creations was founded when Stephanie Douglas Forrester convinced her father Chicago business tycoon John Douglas to lend her and her new husband Eric Forrester (John McCook) the money to start the company. In 1993, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) gained 51% of the stock, the CEO position and took over the company when the Forresters could not buy her BeLieF (which stood for her initials, Brooke Logan Forrester) product. In 1996 Brooke married then designer Grant Chambers and made him CEO. The company was also taken over by Nick Marone (Jack Wagner), who blackmailed the Forresters into selling it to him. However, in October 2007, Nick decided to sell Forrester Creations back when he began failing as the company's CEO in exchange for Eric divorcing his then-wife Stephanie Douglas. Eric has agreed to divorce his wife, making the deal official. This deal, however, didn't include the Jackie M Boutiques.
[edit] Other divisions
[edit] Forrester International
The offices of Forrester Creations, which are based outside of United States. They were headed up by Rick Forrester when he was in Paris but now by Ridge Forrester's oldest son Thomas Forrester.
[edit] Forrester Originals
Forrester Originals was created when the Forresters were forced to sell their first company, Forrester Creations, to Dominick Marone and his mother, Jacqueline Payne Marone. The company was started by Eric Forrester (John McCook), Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss), Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon), Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Stephanie Douglas Forrester (Susan Flannery). Forrester Originals was absorbed by Forrester Creations after Eric bought back the latter. When Forrester Originals started Brooke Logan asked Ashley Abbott to design a fragrance to go with their new line of boutiques. The first fragrance was called Phoebe named after Ridge Forrester's daughter Phoebe Forrester.
[edit] Forrester Originals Boutiques
Eric Forrester started up a chain of new boutiques to sell their designs in because the Forrester Creations owners at that time, Nick and Jackie bought up all the high end boutiques, that the Forresters wanted to sell in, and merged them into Jackie M boutiques. Nick said to the press that Forrester Originals would never be sold in Jackie M boutiques, which is owned by Jackie.
