Forres Mechanics Football Club are a senior Scottish football club currently playing in the Highland Football League. They were founded in 1884 and play at Mosset Park in Forres. Their nickname is the Can-Cans. The club is eligible to play in the Scottish Cup.
The club was one of the founder members of the Highland Football League but has only won the championship once. This was achieved in the 1985-1986 season.
There most famous player of all time is Ricky Keith who scored 151 goals in 408 appearances between 1920 to 1936. However the club is well known for getting a player sent off four times in one game against Inverurie in 1989 his name was Greg Massie and he never played for the club again.
