Formuladeildin 2008

The 2008 Formuladeildin (also known as the Faroe Islands Premier League) is the 66th annual competition since its establishment. In this Championship, AB Argir and VB Vágur were relegated to 1. deild after their performance in 2007, while ÍF Fuglafjørður and B68 Toftir were promoted up. Also, Formuladeildin club GÍ Gøta merged with 1. deild club LÍF Leirvik, forming the club Vikingur.
