Formula One 2009 was confirmed by Codemasters on the 9th May 2008 and also Codemasters and the FIA announced that Codemasters secured the rights to Formula One Games from 2009. And to be on multiple platforms and that it will be "The jewel in the racing game crown".
Building on the success of GRID and DiRT, Codemasters Studios is leading the design and development of the games, across multiple formats, using a new evolution of the EGO Engine technology.
