Forms to end a marriage

There are several forms to end marriages in different cultures, several of them being accepted in some cultures.

• Divorce - Talaq being the Islamic counterpart, Triple talaq being a controversial version of it.
• Annulment - formalize that a marriage did not take place
• Pauline privilege - something in between Divorce and Annulment.
• Also, the ending of a Nikah Mut'ah is something in between a Divorce and an Annulment.
