[edit] History Of The Routes
There was an increase in journeys between Merry Hill Shopping Centre and Kingswinford. The extension was however short lived presumably because of the unreliability of such routes that served the Dudley area. The route reverted to operate every half hour.

The journey time of route 264/265 was then 60 minutes end to end but is now 80 minutes.

The 274 and 275 have been run by many operators, including Peoples Express and Diamond Bus under a Centro contract.

The journey time of route 274/275 was 80 minutes - Dudley TO Dudley (Dudley - Kingswinford Short journeys were 45 minutes each way.

National Express West Midlands have a current maximum fare of £1.50.
[edit] Dudley Network Review
The 264 and its opposite direction, 265 have been earmarked for withdrawal in April 2008 in the Dudley Network Review.
The changes are as follows:
- The National Express West Midlands Route X96 will be replacing this route between Dudley, Holly Hall and Merry Hill and then to Stourbridge every 20 minutes replacing National Express West Midlands Route 296 and National Express West Midlands Route 293.
- Hansons of Wordsley route 226 will be running between Merry Hill and Kingswinford and Dudley via the Northern arm of these routes, National Express West Midlands Route 205 will cover Ashenhurst Road and the Russels Hall Estate to make a 15 minute frequency via this route.
Route 264A and 265A will be widthdrawn.
