Former Midland Red route X91

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One of the trunk routes of the old Midland Red bus company was the X91 cross-country service from Hereford to Leicester, a service taking five and a half hours from one end to the other.

The service ran two times a day and connected such centres as Tarrington, Ledbury, British Camp, Great Malvern, Malvern Link, Worcester, Pershore, Evesham, Bidford-on-Avon, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Coventry, Bedworth, Nuneaton, Hinckley and Leicester.

In 1980 the service was curtailed to run between Hereford and Stratford-upon-Avon only, with a connecting vehicle on the X67 running through to Leicester from Stratford. With the breakup of Midland Red the service had disappeared by 1981.
