The series, planned to run through August 4, 2008, will consist of 50 episodes of 2 minutes each, to be posted Monday through Friday.

The series is a prequel and promotion for the Robin Cook novel of the same name, scheduled to be released on August 5, 2008, the day after the series finale. Portions were shot in India, and it cost a reported $10,000 per minute to film the series.[1] [2] [3]
