Foreign Body, which debuted on May 27, 2008, is a webseries produced by former Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner's production company Vuguru and the internet series production company Big Fantastic, the creators of SamHas7Friends and Prom Queen (internet series). The series, planned to run through August 4, 2008, will consist of 50 episodes of 2 minutes each, to be posted Monday through Friday.
The series is a prequel and promotion for the Robin Cook novel of the same name, scheduled to be released on August 5, 2008, the day after the series finale. Portions were shot in India, and it cost a reported $10,000 per minute to film the series.[1] [2] [3]
[edit] Plot
The core plot of Foreign Body concerns "medical tourism in India, focusing on “a group of dangerous Indian beauties” whose nursing skills will be put to some nefarious use."[1]
