Ford P platform

The Ford P platform is Ford Motor Company's full-size pickup platform.

F-Series trucks are built in Cuatitlan, Mexico, Dearborn, Michigan, Claycomo, Missouri, and Valencia, Venezuela. It was also built in Oakville, Ontario until its closure in 2004. In 2007, the related T1 platform entered production for the large SUVs.

A new Super Duty version of the P platform was debuted in 2006 for the 2008 model year. Production of the Super Duty trucks will continue at the Louisville, Kentucky truck plant.

2009 F150 to be built in Dearborn, Michigan, Claycomo, Missouri also known as Kansas City Assembly Plant KCAP. Ford has announced the closure of the Norfolk facility in 2008.
