Ford Johnson (1942- ) is an American writer, speaker on spiritual and esoteric topics, and president of a service organization working with adolescents. A former member and respected leader of Eckankar, he left the religion and is now perhaps best known for his book Confessions of a God Seeker which critiques the religion and its founder Paul Twitchell, and lays the groundwork for Johnson's Higher Consciousness Society. He also founded One Publishing to distribute his book and promote his ideas. Finally, he maintains The Truth Seeker, a website "to provide instruction and insight in the quest for spiritual truth" as its home page notes.
