"Forbidden Love" is the title of two different songs by American singer Madonna. The first song appeared on her 1994 album Bedtime Stories; the second appeared on her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor.

[edit] Song information

Though the 1994 "Forbidden Love" was never commercially released as a single, the song was included a year later on Madonna's collection of greatest ballads, Something to Remember.

The two songs are completely different musically, lyrically and thematically. The 1994 song is a pop/R&B ballad while the 2005 song is an uptempo dance track. Both songs are, interestingly, each track 7 on their respective albums.

The 2005 song is performed live on the DVD to the 2008 Grammy Award winning DVD/CD set released the previous year The Confessions Tour.
