[edit] Problems

If this category is for "buildings and structures that no longer exist", and not for structures "still partially extant, or [that] have been rebuilt or restored", why does it contain Category:Ruins (partially extant), Category:Rebuilt buildings and structures (rebuilt, obviously), Category:Former world's tallest buildings (entirely extant in most cases), Category:Abandoned stations (at least partially extant). I could go on. "Former castles, palaces, and fortresses"? Does that mean buildings that used to be, say, castles, but are now museums or schools? Clearly there is a need to define what "Former buildings and structures" actually means. Comments welcome, Jonathan Oldenbuck 17:29, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
