Football in Northern Cyprus

Football in Northern Cyprus is governed by the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation (Turkish: Kıbrıs Türk Futbol Federasyonu, KTFF), which was set up in 1955. The KTFF oversees the national team and the league system.

Football is the national sport of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus,[1] with 2500 licensed players.[2] The national side is currently ranked #1 in NF-Board standings,[3] and is ranked higher than all non-FIFA sides in World Football Elo Ratings.[4]
