Fontosaurus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fontosaurus is a small, independent digital type foundry based in Minneapolis, Minnesota that creates and markets fonts for Macintosh and PC. The name came from a drunken conversation when owner/founder, Dan Bailey, was in college and discussing the formation of his foundry.[1]
Historically, the foundry has created a large number of free fonts, mostly of the 'grunge' and 'techno' variety, but after a long period of laying fallow, is back with a new website and the intent of creating more commercial, polished works.
Fontosaurus was a member of the second-generation of the Chank Army.
