Fonte Nuova is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rome in the Italian region Lazio, located about 15 km northeast of Rome.

The comune was created in 2001 from the frazioni of Tor Lupara di Mentanta and Santa Lucia di Mentana, once belonging to Mentana, and that of Tor Lupara di Guidonia Montecelio.

The territory of Fonte Nuova borders those of the following municipalities: Mentana, Monterotondo, Guidonia Montecelio, Rome and Sant'Angelo Romano.
