Fontanelle is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Treviso in the Italian region Veneto, located about 45 km north of Venice and about 25 km northeast of Treviso. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,634 and an area of 35.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Fontanelle contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Fontanellette, Lutrano, Vallonto, and Santa Maria del Palù.
Fontanelle borders the following municipalities: Codognè, Gaiarine, Mansuè, Oderzo, Ormelle, San Polo di Piave, Vazzola.
