Fontanella is a town in Austria. Situated in Vorarlberg, it is one of the westernmost settlements in Austria. 29.5% of the municipality are forested, 52.1% are alpine.

The Habsburger governed Vorarlberg, From 1805 to 1814, it was part of Bavaria and after returned to Austria. It became a part of Vorarlberg since 1861. It was occupied by France from 1945 to 1955.
