Fontana della Piazza dei Quiriti

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The fountain in the Piazza dei Quiriti (Sometimes called: 'La Fontana delle Cariati') in Rome was constructed in 1927-1928, designed by the sculptor Attilio Selva after he was inspired by the 17th century designs.

When it was first constructed, it caused a scandal due to the sculptures, which include a group of four nude females.
