Fome is a word that doesn't exist in spanish but that in Chile means boring. I was nicknamed fomeboy in 1996 as a joke by my ex-girlfriend Juana because she thought that everything I liked was boring relating my tastes in music, movies, etc. I used to relate to that word by others even before because I never followed trends but instead had my own "boring" tastes, so since I got my first computer in 1997, I have always been using that particular funny nickname online.

Also, please do not confuse my nickname with some weird teenage furniture (actually a chair that turns into a bed) created for a contest on designboom.com by some people from denmark...
