Fomena is one of the constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Nkoranza North is located in the Adansi North district of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
At the by-election held on 23 January 2007, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Nana Abu Bonsra, won the seat with an increased majority.[1]
