[edit] Tajik
Hi, thanks for your references to books on Tajik, I had not heard of "The Official Beginners' Guide to Tajiki", nor "Vom Persischen zum Tadschikischen: sprachliches Handeln und Sprachplanung in Transoaxanien zwischen Tradition, Moderne und Sowjetmacht (1900-1956)". I have parts of the other two in photocopy. Mostly dealing with the morphology sections.
If you are interested, there is a Wikipedia in the Tajik language, if you can discuss scholarly topics in Tajik you would be very welcome (at the moment there are only three of us, myself — I don't speak Tajik, and two Tajiks).
Again, to reiterate what the template above says, welcome to Wikipedia! :) - FrancisTyers · 10:12, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, aside from me, the other two main contributors are tg:User:Ibrahim and tg:User:Tolib. There are a couple who do stuff now and then, but these two are the most frequent. Regards :) - FrancisTyers · 00:43, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
