Lyrics are generally copyrighted, unless they are sufficiently old to be in the Public Domain. The lyrics of an entire cannot be reproduced on Wikipedia unless they are under a free license. Mak (talk) 16:44, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

A work is usually Public Domain 70 years after the authors death. This work is about 70 years old, and the author unknown. I dont believe there is a copyright, but can i put it up if i acknowledge that there is a copyright?

No, you cannot put it up unless you can show definitively that there is not copyright. If you do not know who the author is, you can't just assume they died immediately after they wrote the song. I believe for anonymous works it's something like 100 years from publications or something like that. Mak (talk) 17:58, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

aight, i'll see what i can find out about it
