[edit] Discovery

According to the Lonely Planet, D'Urville, and not Blackwood, discovered the Fly. So unless Ruszewski can find a reference it can stay that way. Nomadtales 05:57, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ok Tedi NPOV

Watch for claims that the Ok Tedi river is the source of 'one of the worst' environmental disasters in the world, as this is POV and sensationalism, It is a major catastrophe, which also occurred in the Strickland River but was less publicised due to the fact the Ok Tedi debacle ended up in the courts and the media spotlight. Many media outlets reverted and retracted reports that this was one of the worst environmental disasters in human history, as we have done quite a lot more bad things than just this! also, the poster of these sensationalist clams, please stop reporting that the Ok Tedi Mine is in the town of Tabubil. I have lived in Tabubil for most of my life and I can assure you the mine is actually a fair distance away! Please keep the bulk of the environmental stuff on the Ok Tedi Environmental Disaster page where it belongs, and try to keep mindful of WP:NPOV and verifiability on this controversial topic.
