Flying Tiger Line Flight 739

Flying Tigers Line Flight 739 was a Lockheed L-1049H chartered by the United States military. On March 15, 1962 it disappeared over the western Pacific Ocean. It was carrying 96 U.S. soldiers en route to South Vietnam. All 107 onboard died. No cause was identified. (The date may be identified as March 16 due to the plane crossing the International Date Line.)
