IMDb profile |
Flyin' Ryan is a 2003 children's film written and directed by Linda Shayne about a boy who finds shoes that allow him to fly. The film was low budget but is targeted for young children. Andy Weiss in the starring role of "Ryan" is reminiscent of a young Ron Howard. Actors Damon Schoeffler and Bruce Tenenbaum respectively portray the bully Dirk and the father of the bully. Jonny Goold and Leigh G. Miller portray Dirk's sidekicks.
The film was shot on the Sony PD 150 camera and that gave away its low budget. The film had a big screen showing in the city of Lakeport and was a big hit with young kids.
